Default VF's system made 371awhp on CA 91 octane... that's 475hp

and to be fair, it's not the lack of HP that hurts the RS4 but the lack of torque. Forced induction makes up for that in a big way.
420-450hp with torque to match is big power. 420hp with 317ft-lb is not.

It's not quite 500hp, which is the new standard for "big HP" IMO, but it's a lot, and a lot more than stock.

I'm hoping the supercharged RS4 makes around 550hp... that would be incredible with torque up over 400ft-lb

Default That's pretty impressive, agreed. Just waitin' to see these systems out for sale, like most....

they're coming, granted. I have no doubt that in spite of the high cost, they'll sell. Too many M3's waiting to get beat up. Most STI's already fall by the wayside.

With my Milltek cat-back and APR chip, I am sure I'm running 'somewhere' around 360hp right now, which feels great. Wish I could afford those damned downpipes---but sheesh they're bank.

Will you supercharge yours if you get one?

Default Well that depends on a few factors...

1) the buyout on the lease
2) how much I like the other aspects of the car
3) how much I get for the S4 if/when I sell it and what kind of deal VF offers
4) how much power the S5 makes once supercharged

the reason 4 is important is because if CPO'd S5s are cheap(er) in 2 years and there's a blower available for them cranking out 500hp+, I'd be stupid not to consider that.

Odds are I'll just do sway bars, shifter, and exhaust (and SLs if DRC fails) for the 2 years of the lease so as not to fubar the warranty and such.
