Key FOB not working - Battery disconnected
Guys,
It has been a while.
Long story short, today I disconnected my battery, and now the Key Fob Alarm / disarm is no longer working.
If I insert the key into the lock it will activate locks and alarms.
Is there something I need to do to reprogram the FOB? or is this just another one of the issues with my "lemon"
I would look it up in my service book, but it has mysteriously disappeared along with my VAG cable at the last shop. UGH!

insert key in ignition. turn to 1 click before starting. press lock and unlock a few times.
the key should work. the rest of the car will reset afterwards...a few minutes...
