With all the temperature fluctuations and pothole roads out there, your car's components are taking a beating. I got hit with a nice $400 bill for a power steering hose that cracked open on my wife and lost steering almost instantly. Luckily only turning a corner at a stoplight in town, but still, not good.

Yep, $400 to replace a hose. And of course these rubber components are not covered under warranty.
