Reasons why I love my Revo programming....

Very interesting. So which of the chips...
...other than REVO help tame the DBW behavior of the stock car? I was looking at GIAC and APR and really couldn't see a huge difference between them other than multiple modes including a stock mode, etc. Also, I think all of them pretty much recommended a cold air intake at the very least to get the most out of the chip. And I've looked at the bake-off link, but those are mostly dynos of stock vs. chipped rather than a discussion of the DBW/throttle response changes.
I might be interested in getting a chip if it would smooth out the DBW aspects of my current car, especially if I got a little extra boost in power out of it, but I'm pretty sure I don't want to pursue downpipes and exhaust right now. I think the RNS-E was the big thing I could probably do to my car for a while with the wife's full blessing!

At least be straight, they can find out if they want to. Flash count, code diagnostic...
that would mean they would have to remove the ecm, but that is not unheard of if the warranty claim substantiates the extra look. Jusy FYI.
