I elected to not get an S4 w/the DVD-NAV, as I plan on getting a unit that I can take between this and my other car.

Any recommendations on a portable NAV unit? I keep hearing "Magellan" but I figured I'd ask the board as I'm sure someone else has purchased a portable unit.

website down load and will give you maps and directions. It's also a global phone so it will work outside the US's CDMA and will work on GDM. Nice phone and the last place I thought that I would be able to navigate from.

I have the Garmin 2620 and is very intuitive, accurate, and useful.

I have it in my work car and liked it as much (if not more) than the OEM system in my wife's 2003 Acura.

If memory serves me correctly, I pulled the price from Costco on-line and took the printout into Circuit City (they matched prices since Costco is a brick and morter store) + I purchased the 4 year warranty from CC as an added measure of security.

Probably it is cheaper by now.
Satisifed and the performance. It came with a sandbay foundation n it can't stand still on your dash-top without any installation/drilling.
