need recommendation for any good paint-sealant(wax)
I have used audi-authentic paint sealant all the way for my s4. It was purchased at the dealer few years back, but I cannot find it any more in my town (including local audi dealers.
Actually, one dealer recommended me some wax (so called tech-wax, I cannot remember its exact name) but I'm not sure if I shoud go for it.
The question is, can I swich over to a different wax after using only one wax(audi-original) for last few years? Doesn't it makes any smudges?
And, Would you recommend any good wax?
Thanks,

Forget the Audi wax.
I have used Liquid Glass for over 25 years and love it. But you will also find devotees of Zaino, Menzerna and others. I have never used the others so I can't comment about them . IMHO,they will all be better than the so called "Audi wax". BTW, most waxes can be removed with dish detergent or toluene.

You want wax or synthetic? A wax, any wax 'protection' will only last 4-6 weeks max.
The best protection right now is the Zaino Bros System.
Wax still gives the best depth of shine, but the polymers give the longest protection.
The final solution is use the Zaino System, then overcoat with a good wax like P21S each month.
By far Zaino's one of the easiest to apply when done correctly.<ul><li><a href="http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc">Zaino Bros</a></li></ul>

See my humble, probably meaningless opinion inside
First, wash car with Dove or other dishsoap with pH to remove wax.
Then clay, then polish to remove swirls and minor scratches and oxidation, and open pores of paint.
Then if you want a good sealant, get toughguard.
It's no better of a shine than any other good way. But it lasts like you can not believe.
I have used it on my boat and all my cars, and I swear 12-18 months later after commercial washing water still beads in dime-sized droplets.
Expensive, at $149 or so, but last FOREVER, used by US Navy on masts, etc.
