May jump to P-car. Love the S4 but..... love some advice guys.
2004 S4 in shop now for drive shaft and probably clutch too. Was ugly when it came unglued. This after new brakes last week, 36k miles. Don't think this car is made for me. Looking to get into a 2003 Porsche 996. Can't afford a Turbo and think the C4S's in my price range of 60ish must not be perfect. I want a perfect finish, very low mileage 911. Found one in CT at dealer for 62k, yellow, 6k miles, sport seats etc. Very interested. What do you guys know of the cars? What should I be asking? My car went in for drive train work Monday and if I'm going to change, want to do it fast. Bottom line is the S4 may be too heavy for me. Gotta learn a lot about P-cars in a short period of time and hope my AW bud's can jump in here. May have wheels etc for sale gotta figure the deal out first. Working all day tomorrow hope to respond tomorrow night to any input. Thanks in advance.

eff that
If you want to make a jump and still have 4 seats, shell out for a 612 Scaglietti.
Otherwise, it's apples and oranges with a 2 seater P-car. Not the same animal at all. The S4 makes comprmises to be the practical daily driver for winter climates that it is that 2 seaters do not have to make.
