Default the 'guts' of my v1 have been mounted above teh headliner over the drivers side sunvisor for

going on 3 years now, still works fine for radar, will not work concealed for laser obviously but I have another device on front and rear for that

Default my installer had done that on several RS6's and were going to do it to mine, however there were

apparently some circuit boards in the way in our mirror that made it cost prohibitive

that was a few years back though

Default I like my "LI-S4" V1 display, personally.

My V1 is tucked away behind/beside the mirror.

My mute button is the 'overhead lights' button, next to ESP:

Default that is a clean install. is that overhead button

Default It's momentary.

The other button will eventually control the power for my Lidatek, but I need to create a solution that will take the momentary signal from the button and switch the power state of the Lidatek. I think I've found something that will do it, but I haven't gotten around to ordering it.

Default Very. Although I wish I could make the transponder fit in the upper grill.

There is not enough room behind the B6 grill to make it fit, thanks to all the crap shoved in there.

I had it installed inside my grill on the B5:

(Inside the rings)

On the B6, its in the lower grill:
