Default Looking for a good extended warranty.

Hello, all,
Due to the recent increase of number of issues on my s4, I am seriously considering to buy an extended warranty at this time ( <1k mile left).

I called to Audi Pure Protection Customer Service (1-877-800-0286) when I found it at audiusa web. But it was JM&A and they said that I have to buy the ext-warranty package from dealers.

Any recommendation where to buy?

Thanks,

Default No brainer on this car

I bought mine from the dealer, so far it has paid for itself twice over.

If you buy from the dealer you are more likely to get a free loaner from the dealer when it's in the shop for warranty work. But I think that's up to the dealer.

Did you purchase it second hand? How much?

Thanks for the reply, Free loaner would be a good option. Re: No brainer on this car

Default I purchased my car new, then bought the extended warranty before the factory warranty ran out

For the most comprehensive plan it was about $2200 for 70K, 7 years, $100 deductible.

Default Search on user Bruce M

He sells aftermarket products, but can also provide you with good background information and advice if you prefer to go the dealer route.

hmm cause I drive 20k mi a year. this coverage plan would only give me an additional year. thats a tough gamble. will I spend 2300 in a year on repairs? God I hope not but its not uncommon.

Default They do a 100K plan too I believe

But I think that's quite a bit more expensive.

So far my extended warranty has saved me over $5000! I've had the no-reverse problem, worn out suspension bushings and now a coolant leak in less than a year. Would have cost me over $7K.
