The R32 Is so much more fun to drive with very high - low end torque which makes the driving experience so much more fun... the S4 has literally no power till 3500 rpm/comparing to r32. its just a little faster in the top end... a LITTLE faster, barely by much... and its sad how its a V8 4.2 (Gas Guzzler) and still not much heavier than R32 on paper, but on the road doesnt really show much for it. The R32 handled 10 times better with the H&R coilovers and neuspeed sways compared to my KW V3 setup... I just regret my decision now... the reason I came to this side was to get some raw power... its really not so special. I should have gotten a CS M3... ughh... lighter, faster, much better handling, and in my opinion looks So hot with some exterior mods. what can i say... i should just swallow it all down

Save a lot of $$? Jack *** will surely lose several large if he swaps
out only a few months after buying it. I haven't seen this much whining since I watched Capote, and you sound about as educated as Dan Quale. The R32 is a germany's closest thing to a ricer, save the nice interior; and much slower than the S4. But just think, with the money you've spent to make the switch (and maybe more to switch back), you could have modded your VW to the hilt. Brilliant!

Sell the S4. This car is a Luxo muscle car
Unfortunately you didn't do your homework when you bought this car. Also, this car communicates no sense of speed and quickness to the driver. Certified gas guzzler. Unfortunately a test drive on the S4 is not enough for many to really know what this car is like. It sounds to me like you would have been better off with an M3

I dont agree with your performance accessments at all....
I have had plenty of seat time in my friends R32, and it does not have more power down low, and gets creamed up top. The S4 is considerably faster.
Handling is obviously a different story, but off the line and past 140, the S4 will just keep pulling away.

Based on what your looking for, you should go elsewhere. But, not an R32 or S4.
Cayman S is your ticket, based on what you described.
The S4 is a high end executive car with oomph. My B5 S4, with mods, was more of the ye-haw fast, but I grew out of that phase.
