Interesting visit to PES Tuning today (supercharger content inside)...
#15
Let me add to Brian's comments.
I delivered my car to PES last weekend. Two-three months ago cpnversed with some members here, got lots of unsupported comments, both about supercharging and PES.
Full Spectrum.
Opinions are cheap, experience was hard to find. I believed their presentation and glad I did. Expertly designed intake manifold. The runners are awesome, almost looks like something you would stick out of your cut-out Z-28 Chev with huge supercharger ready to run a 6 second 1/4 mile.
The M90 SC is a nice unit, with a vacuum butterfly that allows the unit to cruise without working the screws therefore basically NA operation.
Our Tiptronic trans are a concern, but I will only track the car for some demonstration rides. I am a chief instructor for Audi Club, but race two track-only cars where cages, belts, Halon, coolsuits keep me clamped in.
I regret not having another V8, as my 3 other Audis are all significantly worked over urS cars.
So I expect a healthy improvement, and prepped car with Stoptechs, Hsports, good 18" rubber, etc, to cope with new power.
Honestly, seeing folks spend $4k on wheels, another $5k on suspensions and brakes, this $9k package does a lot for the money.
So I will shut up until I am able to report impression when I get the car back the end of this month. You S4 rides, your kits are ready, so stand by!
