I have a dilema... should I sell my car or not??
while I do love the S4, it is my 4th one and I'm not really as into it as I used to be. I think they're great cars (obviously) but I can't seem to bring myself to start dumping money into mods to make it what I know it can be. It had nothing to do w/ spending the money on the mods, I just can't figure out if I want to keep it long enough to feel like it was worth it to put so much into the car.
The other part of it is that we're having baby #2 in December so a bigger vehicle would make things easier for the few occasions that both kids would be in my car (not often, but it could come up). I was thinking about buying a new Tahoe and hopefully next year maybe buying an Elise to go along w/ it. As for another Audi, that's always a possibility but the A6's don't really do it for me and I don't know if I'm ready for an A8? Is it too much of an older guys car (I'm only 31)?
Any other ideas or reasons to keep the S?

trade for an RS4.
your car is new enough that you won't take a huge hit financially....I traded my '06 S4 when it was 10 months old, and it wasn't that bad.
there's plenty of room! a guy over in the RS4 forum is going on a 10 day road trip with his wife and 2 kids....click here

she has a Touareg but I sometimes need to take the kid(s) when she's not around...
which will be a PIA w/ 2 kids (rear facing car seats barely fit in an S4). I don't know, I need to think about this and see what I come up with.

true... the 6's just don't do much for me (style wise) and the S8 is still too much $$
although that would be a great choice! I think I'd be happy w/ a regular A8 (swb) if I decided to go that route for now. I'll have to go take a look at them.

2nd. I know I "can" fit 2 kids in an S4 but it's about the practicality of doing so...
that and I still don't see the RS4 being worth $25k more than a loaded S4 yet.

Re: I have a dilema... should I sell my car or not??
I have the A8L in addition to the S4.I usually drive the A8L during the week and the S4 on the weekends. I will say that the fun factor is much higher for me on the weekends in the S4. The A8L is a great car but for me alittle bit too mundane. It is great for long trips and you feel like you are sitting in your livingroom. When my lease is up in November 2008 I am going to consider leasing a S6 if the prices are not in the stratosphere. If you do not think that Audi has a particular vehicle in their line up to suit your needs I suggest you look at a BMW 550. For me, I like the Audi's that I have and maybe I will even consider a S7 when it becomes available.
