How to mount Ice Link cradle?
#2
Keep it in the glove box. It keeps the interior looking cleaner.
If you must mount it so it is visible, there are mounting kits available out there. A search may produce some answers, but I am not positive.

GBX Bezel Mount
see my pic poster
it attaches behind the radio (which you've pulled out anyway for wiring)
run the wire to the cradle behind and out towards the glove box, it will fit in the space between the glove and center console and be out of the way
when tall people sit in the passenger side I sometimes have to warn them not bang their knee into it<ul><li><a href="http://www.gbxdirect.com/store/apple_ipod_mount_solution.php?make=Audi&model= S4+Sedan&yearfrom=2004&yearto=2005">http://www.gbxdirect.com/store/apple_ipod_mount_solution.php?make=Audi&model= S4+Sedan&yearfrom=2004&

I use/used the standard cable (not the cradle) and mounted the ipod using a Belkin cupholder mount
