Default The Good and Bad vs The Z06 :)

Well I live in Southern Cali and it has been raining non-stop since last night (very hard)...

The good, Gotta love the car in the rain It's unbelievable...

The bad, I average 20-21mpg in the Z06 and 15-16mpg in the S4 (I don't nanny the Z06 either, so no comments please lol)

Default I don't understand how it's possible for the gas mileage to be so abysmal...

People say they don't care...but 5 mpg less than 5.7 liters of Detroit iron is pathetic.

Put an 800 lb sandbag in the back of the 'vette and then compare fuel consumption. :-)

Weight and gearing. Detroit gives you a 5 speed with a stupid tall 6th gear.

Default Weight I'll buy for 2.5 mpg, gearing I won't.

Any respectable vette owner should have done away with the 1-4 upshift within a week of owning the car.

Default 60 mph gives you about 1300 RPM in the Corvette. What does the Audi spin?

About twice that much.
