thinking about an S4 (noob questions)
took a look at a 6sp. S4 sedan today and I'm thinking about one as a more practical alternative to my current daily driver (M3 E46). I am looking to get a dedicated track car rather than tracking and autoX'g the M and would like to have a capable daily driver, a role that the S4 seems to fit better than the M (especially for winter driving, I'm in PA). A combo like this would possibly allow me to sell my winter car and use the money to build a track car.
I have no intention of starting a war of words or interest in comparisons between the two cars - I will drive the S4 and make up my own mind on that end of things but I have a couple of questions for the S4 faithful:
Any must have options? The car I looked at seemed to have everything but Nav priced just over $50K.
What are the dealers doing price wise (if anything) on these cars?
Any particular common issues that have cropped up with the cars so far?
TIA

ah ok...
I am closer to the King Of Prussia Area. The car is great, just do a seperate set of Winter/Summer Tires. Depending on how many cars the dealer has, if you buy one off the lot etc.... I have a fully loaded car and I dont think there are any options I would go back on, then again its all personal opinion.

In your neck of the woods, make sure you get heated seats and the Premium interior.
That gives you memory seats, heated seats, mirrors, and door locks.
And like JD said, 2 sets of wheels - a winter set with ice traction and summer rubber (OEM) on the other.
I am not convinced that Audi's Nav is worth it anyway.
