Default Just had mine replace by audi under warranty on my 05 after

a year of back and forth with various dealers and several field reps. So far so good with the new ones.

I agree. Audi has to step up its service.

Default Will let you know how my planned 'headlight project' goes....

it may work, it may not. For now, about every 2-3 weeks I'll just simply pull them out, roll the water around until I get it all collected into one little pool down in the far front corner; then I take off the upper vent tube, and I have a long, snaky stiff plastic tube that I just thread down into that corner while holding the light on it's edge, use th shopvac hooked up to the little tube and it's all gone in 5 seconds.

Lasts for a while, anyway. I can send pics nex time if you like....

Default Remove the hid capsule and bake the entire assembly in your oven at 150F

for 10 minutes 2-3 times and blow out with compressed air in between. That assembly can trap a lot of moisture and you need to get it all out. If you bake it you will see moisture condense in a lot of places before it finally dries out.

Default Have you considered just changing out to e-codes?

I think I would go crazy if I had to do that every 2-3 weeks. =)
