Default Fogging light question..

Has anyone who has done the o-ring fix still had problems with fogging? I did the fix last weekend, and just today I noticed small amounts of fog building up in the housing again. I was wondering if this was just moisture trapped in the housing after I ran the hair dryer on it to get the moisture out, or is this new moisture being built up? I thought I had read that the lights were vented, so even though the o-ring part is now sealed well, shouldn't the moisture escape from other areas? Is it possible moisture is getting in by another means?

Default you need to pull out your lights again and dry completely.

use a heat gun for drying and use a vacuum to suck out any condensation. When using the heat gun make sure to remove the high beam bulb to allow hot air to come out.

When vacuuming, replace high beam bulb make sure to block the breather under the headlight assembly to suck out all hot air & condensation

Default I used plenty of lithium grease when I installed..

the o-ring. I really think this moisture is just trapped in the housing from earlier and has not all made it out. Unfortunately, I think that means I will have to remove the housing again.

Default Just removed the housing again..

I'll tell you what, it was a lot easier the second time. =) So I have the housing sitting on my kitchen counter, and have taken the back off. I am working to completely dry this thing out this time. I will let it sit a couple hours as well, then put the back on again, and let it sit again for a couple before reinstalling it back on the car. Thanks for your help.

besides the o-ring, put a nice glob of lithium grease covering the outer adjuster\o-ring area
