Finally got the chance to Clear Corner the "S"...
#25
2. Remove assembly (5) clips & rubber trim.
3. Bake in Oven @ 150degF for 5 minutes. (250 has been used, however 150 is adequete)
I know, I need to run the SelfClean Function on teh Oven.
4. Pry apart face lense from assembly.
Use stubby screwdriver at the seams and seam lips.
5. Here's some tools I thought I needed.
Only needed screwdriver (with sharp edges) and mini sledge or hammer.
6. Now for the best TIP...
Removing the amber. For me, smacking the amber out using brute force is not good in the fact that if not hit right, you'll screw things up or crack something you don't want to.
I used a screw driver w/sharp edges to smack the amber lense off...
I did it similar to how you would smack a cap off of a bottle.
After inspection, this is the BEST method.
And it only took 2 strategic wacks.
7. Stock blinker vs. Silver Coated Amber Blinker
>>> Bulb Size = #1156
8. Use channel locks to help bring the face lense back together with the assembly, then add the (5) clips as you work around the perimeter of the lenses.
Now back in the over for rebaking, reseting/resealing of the silicone glue. 5 minutes, same temperature.
NOTE & OBSERVATION:
There is plenty of gooie silcone glue that the OEM manufacturer has injected into the lense/assembly channel. Now time will tell, but after my inspection, there appears to be adequete glue for resealing. And the silcone stays pretty pliable after heating. Not like some other household glues out there that lose their usefullness after setting.
So, YES as simple as it is; Mushing back together is what you do, paying close attention that it is NOT sloppy. Fortunately, the glue is very elastic in that it actually springs back into place. IMO, if the oven was any hotter, the glue would of been A LOT messier and less workable.
9. Removed Ambers !!!
10. Done
Lastly, Once you do this mod, one really needs to VAG their lighting systems to be in "European" mode...
Meaning that the amber lights will ONLY be ON when blinkers are called for. That's perfect and exactly how B6 Ecodes work. Check it out for yourself and they look awesome at night too, because again NO ambers. Whoot !!!

Before & After
I know there are alot of write ups out there, but I hope some of these additional tips & findings, helps others.
Enjoy
UPDATE:
One Month Later w/ car washes, snow storms, sleet & rain...
NO LEAKS. Whoot !!! (again)
