What OEM cast wheels are not Mass Produced ??
dont get all patriotic on me but what makes a wheel cast in China any worse off then one cast in the US or and other county?
The process is nearly the same unless then are forged and i wrong?

There are a couple casting methods... People use country of origin to determin quality
and type of construction. While this isn't always correct, it has been a rule of thumb in the past that lower quality wheels are made from China because they do not require government regulations requiring aftermarket wheels to meet certain criteria, like Germany and Japan.
"There are three types of casting methods, low pressure/gravity, counter pressure, and high counter pressure molding (HCM); each method has its place in today's market. A wheel manufacturer will select a particular method according to the weight, strength and finish that they have specified for that design. Naturally, the more sophisticated and costly methods produce lighter and stronger wheels but at a higher price."<ul><li><a href="http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AR4&url=%2Fwheels-techpage-1%2F90.shtml">http://www.tirerack.com/wheels-techpage-1/90.shtml</a></li></ul>

I got mine about a month ago too from VM
Under $800, took 2 days. 18x8.5"
Finish is just a tad soft.. (easier than normal to make impressions) but overall I cannot complain. So far it's been holding up on bumps/holes without any issues... and looks great.
Will see how well the finish is holding up after the storm clears up.
Kind of blurry... but you get the idea.
