Considering a Sprint Blue S4...how easy does it show dirt?
I'm not that diligent about keeping the outside of my car washed and waxed, and I'm coming from a Silver A4 and love the way it still looks clean when it's otherwise filthy.
I know that nothing can compare to that, but where does Sprint/Nogaro blue fit on that spectrum...with Silver on one end and Black on the other.
For example, does it look somewhat dirty after a summer rain?
TIA.

Based on what you said...
I'd stick with Silver. My last three cars were dark cars, I got my S4 specifically in silver because I was tired of all the effort keeping my Blue and Black cars clean. I still put the same effort into the silver as I did my other cars and it looks far better much longer.

I think Sprint Blue hides dirt really well
If you get within a few feet you see the dirt, but from a distance it looks very clean. Every color looks dirty after driving around in snow/slush/mag-chloride, but the normal dust buildup is not noticeable.
With rain it depends on how long it's been since it was washed and how hard it rains, if it's been a couple weeks and there's enough buildup then a light rain will make it noticeable. The better you are about waxing, the better it will look after a heavy rain.
I'm always thinking how dirty my car is and I need to wash it, and then someone says "your car is so clean, I love that color". At first I thought they were crazy, but from a distance it really does look clean.

ok..that's kinda unfair...
See... if you look at the red and the blue... and think they have the same amount of dirt on them.. then the red looks cleaner but a little bit... but if you look, the blue one is a LOT dirtier than the red one and it still doesn't look bad compared to the red one.
... I'd have to say, I think my car was that dirty once or twice and it really doesn't show..kinda like that first picture.. the cars dirty as you can see in the other pictures, but in the first one is doesn't look that bad unless you get a really sunny day. The great part about winter is those crappy days where you get all dirty... it's usually not sunny =)

Simple, Sprint Blue is faster, duh.
I get mine washed once a week during the summer, and maybe once every two weeks in the winter. I have run the clay bar over it twice, and I wax it not that often, maybe once every few months. The paint has held up well, and the finish doesn't show dirt that easily. The hardest part, and this goes across every Audi I have owned, is the brake dust.
Here are some pics of mine through its stages:
