ClearBra Question For New S4

ClearBra Question For New S4
I just picked up an '05 S4 Cab in Moro Blue and was looking for some ClearBra info for it. Talking to the dealer it looks like the kit covers part of the front part of the hood. My concern is that the line'll be very distinguishable over time (discoloration and such).
Thoughts/experiences? I'm looking to set up the appointment today, so any answers'd be gratly appreciated.

Nope... no discoloration... and barely any line.. in fact.. it actually looks good.
I love mine... has saved me (even though my car is only 3 months old) a lot of trouble... especially when it comes to rubbing off bugs and tar.

That is way to much for a kit. I had mine done custom for less......
I'm not sure where you live, but there is a good chance someone in your area has had a custom job done. I would post that you are looking for a custom clear bra place in your area.
If you can't find one, then I guess a kit will be your only option. However, I still wouldn't let the dealer do it. They are just going to send it out or have someone come in. Then they mark up that price to $895. If a kit is your only option find an installer on your own.

I have it on mine....
My dealer had it put on before I picked the car up, but the installer must have sent over a rookie, because he had to come back and completely re-do it. It was a really bad job at first, but he made it right. It's more noticable on darker colors like ours, but so our big honking rock chips. I just came out of my first winter and the front end still looks perfect. Would it look better without it, sure, but the front end of my A4 looked like it was sandblasted after a few years, and I'm not going to do that again.

very true. I paid a little extra for the conveinence factor of having it done prior to delivery.
but as it turned out, it was more of hassle because I had to go back to the dealer (not close) to have it re-done. In hindsight, I could have had it done cheaper, locally and probably had a better install.

It's a toss-up, they're right around the corner
Don Rosen in Conshohocken, PA. Looking at a few of their Porsches they look like the do a bang-up (no pun intended) job. I'd like to get this done ASAP and the dealer's very accomodating to this.
Now, does anyone out here know of am excellent ClearBra installation place in the Conshohocken/Plymouth Meeting PA area?
Thanks!

IMO it should be your 1st mod, I have to tell people it's installed cause a lot don't notice it...
Key is finding a very good installer so check for references in your area. Mine took over 6 hours to install. As stated earlier, your quoted price is high as I spent $700 for some additional custom pieces to be installed as shown in this photo as well as the trailing edge of the rear wheel wells onto the rear bumper.
