Carbonio Review- 5 Stars (long)
About 3 months ago I purchased a Carbonio Intake for my 2006 S4. I loved the product. Whether it was the sound, or the shine of the CF under the hood it was something I was extremely proud to have on my car.
Unfortunately as of recent I have noticed that my intake turned yellow. As a concerned consumer I contacted Paul at Carbonio, and he was kind of enough to let me know that the resin which had been used in the earlier models in some cases became yellow due to its close proximity to the engine's internals. Simply put the resin failed in some cases to withstand the heat put out by the engine, thereby turning it yellow.
End result, after only 2 days of correspondence, he is sending me a new one which utlizes the new resin. I am extremely satisfied with my end result, and look forward to doing business with Carbonio in the near future! Thanks Paul.
