If it's me, an MT6. I was headed in to work. Eastbound between 6:30 and 7:00. You?

Default hmmm...exactly at that time

I'm a mt6 as well...was that you I sprinted up the hill with last night?

If so, were you in 3rd or 4th? Seemed that we were even until the drafting helped me or you shifted.

Default Hmmm...my memory is failing me.

Does your car have a rack on top of it now? If so, I think I remember seeing a Dolphin S4 but that was once it, or you, passed me. Normally, as long as traffic permits I'm in 6th and near the speed limit. Strange. I normally see Audi's way before they're up close. I don't know how I missed you unless it wasn't me.

Had I been more aware I would have gladly obliged! That is, until the Newcastle exit where the CHP has an office.

Two questions:

Is that your engine sitting out of your car in your pic poster? And; How do I get to meet the Pirelli models next to the NSX? Wow...

Default Nope...wasn't you then...

we were both aware of each other and had fun up the hill..besides, on closer inspection his car had the v8 badges (don't see them on yours) and I would have DEF noticed the aftermarket exhaust and Stasis badge. My avatar is an acurate picture...i've changed my DRL's to an orange bulb so you can't miss me...I'm surprised we haven't crossed paths before...i'll keep an eye out.

Default Yeah I thought I would've remembered your wheels for sure.

Good eyes. No V8 badge and proud owner of the STaSIS badge now. How come the orange bulb? That's pretty unique.

I'm always on the look out for Audi's but especially S4's since I only see a few now and again. You'll mostly find me through out Roseville on up to Auburn. You?

Same here you'll find me from Rancho Cordova to Sac upto Auburn. PM for a scheduled meet up...i'm interested to compare after I've done a *little* work to her. Saw the post above about the member that bought you wheels if he's local it'd be nice for a sac area s4 meet up

Default Sure. I'll send you a PM later rather than sooner with a big family weekend coming.

The S4 owner who bought my wheels as FAR from local! How's about Alaska? So, as far as an S4 meet I'd be up for it but there ain't a whole lot of B7's or B6's 'round here. I know Maverick14 is Bay Area but has some connections in Granite Bay. Either way I'll be in touch.

So, how was the run up I80, anyway? Was ther a difference in performance you think between you guys?

Default pretty big difference

I was in 4th at about 5000 rpms (you do the math) I was about three to four car lengths behind him and we both went for it. Dead even for less than 5sec then by 5th i was pulling REALLY hard. So there could be a few reasons: He had a tip, I built more speed having him cut the wind, or he shifted to early into 5th.

I also had a full tank of gas and a passenger.
