Default Bird crap from hell... Left cloudy marks in the paint that I CAN'T GET OFF!!

I tried using 3M Hand Glaze polishing compound which normally takes anything off and the discoloration won't go away.

Is the paint ruined? Any ideas?

The bird must have eaten battery acid earlier in the day for this to happen.

Default If it left a crater in the paint then you will have to machine polish it. Get down and look across

the mark and see if you see clear coat actually missing. If you see a crater then that may have to be rounded off by a random orbital or rotary with the right polish and pad combo. Most bird crap is very acidic and will eat into the clear if it sits. I keep a spray bottle with water and a clean microfiber towel in the trunk for just such occasions. Bird crap marks show really well on dark colors.

Default Get a clay bar. If it doesn't come off with that then...

You're stuck with it, unfortunately

Default I had the same thing happen. BUT

it was on my new car and only had 1 coat of Liquid Glass on it. Never have had the paint marred before when LG was used I usually have at least 3 coats of the LG on the car. 3 coats seems to make the paint pretty impervious

Try clay, if not, take to professional detailer. They can polish or wet-sand if necessary.
