Falken Ziex 912s are a good value. Yoko Avid V4S's are good too.

I'd check the rating on TireRack.com

I bought Bridgestone Potenza Grid 019 (high performance all-season) based on their review and have been very satisfied with them. It's a shame they don't come for S4 sizes. Older ones I had were the same ones except for they were 009 and I got over 45000 miles from them. They were excellent in summer and winter (I live in Canada) over any surface. The only suggestion I have for you is that if you drive the car in winter only, why not consider winter tires? Good all season tires handle snow fine, but it's the stopping on snow/ice that makes a winter tire stand out. And if you only drive your Audi in winter then that may be a safer/better choice than all seasons.

Cheers

I agree with my Canadian friend. Sure AWD will boogie in the snow, but stopping is what is most important! Get a winter tire and have more fun in the snow!!
