they have a gray '07 S4 in the showroom right now that I want really bad...stickered at $55,470 - was able to talk him down to $49,500 for the car, but they will only give me $17,500 on a trade in (05.5 A4 2.0T, Quattro, manual, cold weather, premium). was hoping for $20k + trade in.

and agree the lease rates on the S4 are awful. But, the suspension on the 335 felt so soft to me, and the car just didn't do it for me overall. I drove the S4 right after driving the 335, and there was just no comparison. I also really like the relative exclusivity of the S4 v. the BMW - they're multiplying like rabbits where I live!
