I don't understand your analysis. Why do you do monthly? Like there's huge fluctuation from one month to next. Shouldn't you aggregate them and compare annually or per all reported items for particular car?

We don't do monthly. We update quarterly, to provide stats on new models sooner, because a year is a long time to wait for "news" of an improvement or the opposite, and because few people can accurately report on repairs that happened more than a few months ago.

The stats do always include the past four quarters.
