AC only blows cold after heavy acceleration
AC won't blow cold until I put the car under heavy acceleration. Once it starts to blow cold, it usually stays cold, even at idle. Had my shop check the freon and everything checked out okay. Not sure what the problem is.

sometimes it takes about a few minutes for the compressor to get the system really cold i have found.
I was having an issue with my a/c being cold for the first 30 mins or so, then it just wouldn't cool. i inspected the cabin filter and it was pretty dirty, i found that the cooling coils werent getting enough air flow and were icing over. i installed a new cabin filter turned the car off and kept the blower going and the cooling coils thawed out and water was just pouring out like crazy. i have enjoyed strong a/c ever since.
