I've had mine done 6 times so far and we are currently arranging for #7.. My SA has informed me that the regional reps now have the kits to recharge the accumulators so the cost to those without warranty will be less.. Since all my work has been done under factory warranty,(got it extended by AoA for excessive problems with car during first year) I cant say as to how you might force them to admit that the DRC system is a known faulty design and therefore should be replaced by them (best guestimates have it at over 75% of all owners have had it fail), contacting a regional rep and bypassing the dealer would be my first suggestion. I purchased an aftermarket warranty that covers everything except brakes and wipers but remember, any repairs done to the DRC are warrantied for 12 months.. so when it fails again, you can have it fixed free..
Welcome to the frustration that is the RS6.. a wonderful car that has a few achilles heels on it..
