i am assuming it would be nothing short of great...I agree with all your thoughts except I think the RS6 will continue to depreciate!?..they want 55k for this one which is close to the highest price (granted lowest miles)in the country. It will take a 10k hit in the first year, which could be more than the M3. So that and the potential maintenence costs closes the gap...
there is no penalty for walking from the deal...
