Although the price was OK, and the car appears to be in great shape, thinking it over I was not thrilled with the way the dealership was working the sale.

Putting a reserve price of $99,000 on eBay is unethical IMO. All it amounts to is free or cheap advertising, or trolling for bidders they can contact.

The $599 "documentation fee" was also BS, as was advertising the car as CPO and then saying it would be $1900 extra for the extending warranty. Again, BS.

Then I look at quotes of $1500-1800 to ship the car in an enclosed trailer and well, I'm not saving as much over a new one as I had hoped.

So, I may just stay on the sidelines and continue to watch the market. Prices are only going to get cheaper... and maybe much cheaper as cars come off lease or the economy continues to drag bottom.
