Lease rates/financing rates will be better on a new car (if you plan to use them). You will have two extra years of warranty. One less year less depreciation. No need to worry about the new cars condition. And, the satisfaction of a brand new car is hard to match.
I would offer $60K (and accept $61K delivered to your door) on the 2008 and tell them you will do the deal today. Of course, it easy for me to spend your money.
