Dealership called today and they are going to replace it for free! I've bought 2 Audis from them, and have serviced 5 Audis with them over the years, so I guess that's worth something. Kudos to Cavender Audi in S.A.

So it goes in tomorrow afternoon, and I'm also going to have them check out that 'bicycle chain' noise I mentioned recently. It still occurs consistently 3-4 seconds after shutting the motor down....to be continued.
