I'm obviously bias, however, I think the S5 is definitely "sexier" than the RS4. Most of that, for me, has to do with the relative lack of availability of that model to date. If you consider sheer driving pleasure, i have driven both, and I would choose the RS4 6 days a week and perhaps take the S5 out on Sundays. Not to church mind you :P

If you like a 4-door sedan with flared fenders and a high revving engine that gives you wood every time you hit the gas, the RS4 is for you.
If you want a fun, new, sexy 350HP coupe that sounds great too, then the S5 is your baby.

For whatever reason, i have instant respect for those choosing to drive an RS4, and that was well before i ever owned one. The S5 doesn't elicit that type of emotion in me. I see the S5 as Audis answer to the 3-series coupe, and not a unique or coveted item.

You can tell what you really desire by imagining yourself behind an RS4 and an S5 parked side by side at a traffic light. Put yourself in the drivers seat one at a time and then you'll know which you desire most or the least.

Both are great cars, you can't go wrong with either!
