Maybe the OP bought this car and he is looking for the original owner. Looks like an silver on black 08 Cabriolet.

It may be helpful to post the info of the car vs. the VIN #

Cheers

Nick

It seems it only had around 9k miles. Ιf it was on consignment the owner can pull it back, if he sold it, it all depends on the place he sold it. It seems to have been for sale in Luxury Motors in Chicago. They have some cool cars.

Looks like a keeper car (the MSRP was 82k wow )

Long story. I recently retired as EVP of VW Group of America. It was my company car. I delayed deciding whether to buy it from the company and it got sent to auction. Luxury Motors bought it and they sold it quickly. They won't tell me who bought it (understandably) and they won't agree to forward a note from me to their buyer (not so understandably).

They probably lied about some aspect of the car and are afraid that if the buyer contacts you, they'll be found out. Only reason not to oblige you otherwise.

So now you would like to contact the buyer and somehow persuade him/her to sell it to you? I mean I understand that you wanted the car but as you pointed out you delayed making a decision and VWofA sold it. Car has a new owner and at this point it is really gone. To be honest and no offense meant the whole thins is a bit weird.

Plus it is not like there are not other RS4's out there. I am sure you can find one.

Just want to ask him for a right of first refusal should he decide to sell. The car had some non-standard equipment. Sorry you think it's weird. Bye.
