Should take a few weeks to get the unit. It is supposed to be plug and play but has 2x the resolution and will play 32GB SDHC cards cards as well as having new 3D nav system

Thanks Reggie.
Exciting. I've read quite a bit about this and am very curious about the results. Screen you posted looks great.
Where did you order it from, Audi?

I recently installed a 2010+ A3 RNSE on my RS4. It has the piano black surround like the lower picture. I originally was concerned that the additional silver and black features would clash (or look bling), but in the car it looks 100% stock.

I ordered a used one (in new condition) off e-bay, and it came with the 2013 US map edition.

Another cool feature is the FM radio based traffic message channel. Go here to learn more: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...MC-Information

While everything worked perfect out of the box, I did record all the vag-com settings of the original version, and then transferred them (as appropriate) to the new model. (Things like BOSE and GALA were disabled.)

Bummed I can't get the RS4 face screen to work, but nobody else appears to be able to access it either.

Very, very nice! My factory unit always calculates travel times about 20% too long. Wish I could figure out how to calibrate that.

I think there may be a way to change the speed used for the different types of highways.

I did the same about 12 months ago - you won't regret it Reggie.

I went for the unit with the matte screen fascia and retained the existing volume and rotary **** buttons so that the unit looks completely original/factory standard until you turn it on.

The high res screen is a huge improvement over the old '192' unit (is a lot more detailed and looks significantly 'fresher'). The ability to use 32GB SDHC cards is nice too.

Looks great - now comes the long wait.

BTW I ordered the mat black bezel like you have but I wanted the metal silver ***** - I am hoping they match the gear shift ****.
