and to prolong headlight bulb life. for 08 they did move DRL to high beams instead of main headlight. looks better, as it's an even lower output, but i still prefer without DRL. i've never liked DRL.

lot's of Subie owners have done this mod over the years, so it's pretty popular. fortunately there are still only a very few car makers who use DRL.

Cutting off the DRL should prolong the headlight bulb life. I suppose that is why manufacturers (Audi in this case) are using low voltage/usagle LED DRL's in their new models.

I will see how things go, BTW did you get the SE trim on your legacy? The foglights kit? It looks pretty mean with the fogs on.
