I have heard people go all nuts about one airbag designed for this car vs. that. Keep in mind that ALL airbags in the US are tested and designed as if the occupants were unrestrained.

So if you really want to use airbags as they were intended, you need to unbuckle that safety belt.

I think you are wrong on that - I believe the wheels alex provides are now two stage bags like the OEM ones we have in the US and that they do take into account that the belt is fastened or not. For this reason you really can not use this wheel on the B6 A/S4s unless there is a mod done as those cars and earlier had single stage bags. These bags meet the European standard not US but only because they have not been released in the US officially.

I have the TTRS wheel and love it. Plug an play, and the buttons work. If the RS4 was coming out now- this is the wheel it would have.
Self installed- 30 minutes done carefully and no issues. Alex is great with sharing info and with the RS4 badge- it looks OEM.

I found this RS4 for sale on EBAY and i can't figure out the steering wheel. Is this what you're referring to?

EDIT: Nevermind... looks like they just put an RS6 wheel on their RS4.

If it doesn't have paddle shifters or evidence of paddle shifters being removed, then it looks like a TTRS wheel to me.
