"Secondly, after having the vin # checked, there was also the Audi Care pkg."

Audi care will not transfer if the car in CPO. If he is the orignal owner, it might. Don't buy Aidi care unless you intend to kep the car AND drive enough to make it work. I bought Audi Care last summer on my CPO S4, with 39 K miles to cover the 55 and 65 K service. But you have TWO years to get them done or the miles. I don't drive much, so in over a year I only have 47K mles now. So I had reguat service at 43K, which means I can get the 55K service at 53K miles or in DEcember. I doubt that I get even close to 65K, but I shuld have asked and I don't blame Audi.

Bottom line, don't get Audi care unless you drive enough to make the miles in two years time.

The car is coming from the original owner. It is not CPO'ed. My local audi service guy found out that it was 100% transferrable to the new owner. Yes! But you're right...if it was a CPO'ed car, I would've had to pay to have it transfered to me. Go figure.

I am taking delivery of the car on August 26th. Can't wait!

You checked that the shocks are not leaking right?

Silvber window trim is not the Titanium package. Titanium package includes: Black window trim, Titanium color wheels, Titanium color mirrors, Black exhaust tips, black front grille, Piano Black interior belt line trim, body colored trunk/bumper trim and I think that's it. I have a titanium package car and all of that's included.

Actually, the car is being shipped to me at the seller's expense. Once I receive it, I will have seven days to inspect it. The money will be held in a non-interest bearing trust until after the 7-day inspection period. Of course, I plan to bring the car into my audi dealership and have it fully inspected. I will definitely mention the shocks as you suggested.

Anything else that I should specifically ask the mechanics to look at? They will be performing their "128" point inspection ($125.00). The carfax came out very clean, BUT I know the carfax report does not show everything.

You nailed it! Unfortunately the deal fell through b/c the seller was a frickin' SCAM artist! To make a long story short...I am still lookin' for my RS4. This time around, I am willing to pay a little more and not deal with this bullsh*#. I am upset at myself for not catching on to him sooner.
