Install Blinder M27
#21
blinder has to make the sensors smaller.. they're wayy too big (i have them on one of my other cars and they work great)..
the sensors are about 4 inches long.. too big and noticeable for the RS4.. i won't be getting the blinder for the RS until blinder revise the sensors and make them smaller -- doubt they will any time soon, too tacky imo but it's a great product.

Yeah, I have a V1 and Audi is still installing the sensors. We'll see how it turns out. I called Blinder and asked about putting the sensors towards the bottom half of the bumper in by the fox lights and Leon said that would be just fine. If you want to be "invisible" to the laser gun that's one thing, but for the purpoases of having 5-7seconds of time to slow down you could mount them on the very bottom of the bumper if you really want. I'd rather have them secure and hidden (still effective) then out in the open and potentially fall out.

Yeah I left it up to the tech to find a suitable place to mount them. He did a great/clean job. I'm more than satisfied. I would recommend Winner Audi to anyone in the Philadelphia area. They're great.

That is a sweel looking install on the Blinder. My guess, is that you are susceptible to a hit on your side mirrors inside of 500ft without your valentine/passport of blinder even going off. However, 99% of cops will shoot center mass first from 1500 ft out leaving you plenty of wiggle room.
I just jammed a MA state trooper on Storrow Drive this past Sunday. He was standing outside of his car, kept painting and painting me. I went back and did it again just to be a douche....

PS-SOmeone asked about my earlier pic if they ever rattle loose. Not at all, it is a very slick install and very secure. THe sensore have taken a hit from 3 winters of sand salt etc, and I have to keep them extremel clean. If not when driving into direct sun the sun sets it off too often.....Other than that, never a false alarm, even when the passport does...
