Default I noticed a delay

after I mounted my snows w/o TPMS senders.

It took a drive home, to the driveway, as I recall, before it finally decided to trigger.

FWIW.

Default Problem fixed......I hope.....

Went through the wheel change menu on the TPMS set screen. Problem is gone for now.

What a great resource this site can be sometimes!!!! Thanks.

Default Same here.

After my winter wheels were installed (without TPMS) I drove over 5 miles before the warning came on. Same thing happens after you reset it. It should be pretty easy to tell just by looking at the valve stem. If it's just a standard looking black rubber valve stem, then you probably don't have TPMS installed.

By the way, I asked my dealer to disable the TPMS for winter (using their vag-com) and they said that they were not allowed to do this! Presumably for liability reasons. I've since learned to ignore the warning light.
