Thanks for all the kind comments guys.
Nick (Titsataki), no changes needed to the kit. The prototype seen in Verruckt's video with the CF cover didn't fit, but for the final product, all that was needed was for the inner lip of the hood to be cut behind the hood latch and for the rubber seam around the engine bay to be cut off (both pictured above). I'm not sure why the kit installed by Hoppen last year on their customer's car needed the hood hole and CF cover.
Sillyboy, PES isn't a bad way to go. I spoke to both PES and VF this summer before I finalized the MTM plans, and they both seemed committed to a supercharged RS4 program and I am confident both offerings will be worthwhile. One advantage of MTM's kit is the twin screw supercharger versus the Eaton roots type unit, and of course, Roland Mayer's tuning capabilities, and MTM isn't inexpensive-BUT worth it to me-this is my winter DD for up to five months of the year-my "winter beater."

500HP+ for winter driving, you trying to fly over the snow?
man that must of cost more than the car costs! much props, it looks great.
any idea how it improved the 0-60mph and 1/4 times?

Not sure on 1/4 times, but butt dyno suggests sub-12 sec. with good launch.

The Cherry Bomb is now ready for winter-2004 C5 RS6 18" rims with Michelin Alpin PA2 winter tires (255/40-18) with thicker sidewall and the same overall diameter of my summer tires (Michelin PS2's in 275/30-19) enabling the rims to handle winter potholes without bending:

What is the point of the supercharger?
I could understand if you were tracking it and were trying to keep up with the M3 and Z06, but for driving it around town.....I would think stock it has enough power already.....
