ontario/ohio feeder...out my window
i wish i was awake last night at 1am, i could've watched you zooming down the feeder!
i do that bit as well in my S4...up to Augusta exit, swing around and get back off at the ohio street exit, which has that very excellent long left hand sweeper. i can very well imagine that it must be a real hoot in the RS! the fuzz has to be hip to all the speeding that goes on along there, with the crazy motorcycle activity in the summer, etc, but i've never seen anyone pulled over along the feeder. (i have seen the aftermath of numerous motorcycle deaths, however...the cops always leave the mangled motorcycles propped up against a street pole to serve as a cautionary tales for all out-of-control pocket rocket pilots.)

near triple digits and beyond I have no doubt the M5 will pull away...
amazingly, the M5 seems to get even stronger once in 4th gear and going well beyond what can be safely driven on public roads. I'm just saying the RS4 is every bit as fast until then and because you have to do more work to get it going forward (shifting and left foot), it's a lot more fun. Only way to find out is to pit my mad rowin' skillz on the RS4 against my gf's heavy right foot on the M5's go pedal, maybe at a drag strip. I'm pretty sure I'd lose in 1/4 mile but I'd spank the M5 on most road courses, assuming equal driver ability. The M5 likes to push on tight corners, seemngly much more so than the RS4. They're both very heavy cars but it's already starting to seem like the RS4 likes to defy the laws of physics more.

To me the B7 S4 isn't close even when the B7 RS 4 is NOT broken in.
Immediacy, pull, sound, feel, turn-in, carnal sounds, etc. And I'm comparing to a modified B7 S4. My business partner agrees. He would dump his B7 S4 Avant in a flash second if he could get an RS 4 Avant. -Pete, Stratmosphere
