Not so bad that I'm taking it off and I would do it on my next car. It's primarily a highway car driven 70+ mph and it's already saved my from what I know would have been chips in the stock windshield.

Just make sure 1) the installed knows how to raise the wipers via the "service position" found in the MMI menu and 2) the detailers and/or car wash folks (yes, saw an RS7 at my local car wash last week) DON'T use razor blades to get bugs off the windshield...

Oh - and no ghosting during the day, mostly noticable at night from headlights.
