Sport vs. Drive mode
Just wanted some feedback here, and also some lead-in on those that have it on order...
1) there is a HUGE difference between these modes. I have experienced significant RPM revs under Sport, and much more "docile" drive under D. This has made break-in easier however, especially on the highway so I can control revs, but it's much more fun under Sport.
2) lots of crackling/back fire under sport, the exhaust comes alive. Under drive it's substantially quiet.
3) in sport it hunts redline quite readily...a semi-no no under break-in procedure, but it's been near impossible to stay out of this mode...anyone feeling me here?
4) I've had the car now till 500miles, and the throttle is already really becoming responsive in the rev range ...you guys noticing this? It's a lot meaner and even a bit hard to handle in & around town
5) speaking of which, D mode is excellent in traffic and around town, in S it's begging you to put the gas down. I find myself frequently shifting between these two.
I'm seeing it as much more of an asset than anything else. Really a Jackal/Hyde comparison!
Thoughts really appreciated ...

I was wondering, whenever I start the car always loses "S" mode -- it says "D" instead of "S/D". Is there anyway to have to automatically come back in "S/D" or do I always need to select that?

Have you tried customizing your "car settings"? I don't mind as much because the pedal doesn't go down until the highway, "D" makes it much easier to maneuver through the neighborhood!
