One statistic I've read is that roughly 75% of these have experienced at least one DRC failure over the years, (based on those who have posted such info on various forums) and many have had multiple failures.

We also have the VIN list (where's that link again?) that includes limited stats on the different colors and interiors delivered to the US, but even that was only ?% complete.

What are your thoughts on how many of the 986 are still on the road? I would think at least a few cars have been lost over the last six years due to accidents. Anyone heard of any?

Between the cars moded and put into track use (5? 10? more?), and cars that may have been totalled, I wonder how many are actually still roaming our roads. This question came to mind as I was thinking about how many cars Audi is actually going to be fitting with the "improved" DRC components.

I have a column for DRC repairs but have not made an effort to back-track through threads to make sure it is current. I've not seen the 75% number before, RS6.com ran about 50% if I recall. The list has roughly 340 cars and only 1 that I recall had a "totalled" note, but I suspect that number is low relative to the total.
