The exhaust comming off of the cats going into the center of the car is crimped and welded together, hindering flow. Also the passenger side is flat for no apparent reason. Pic below.

Wondering if it is worth to just replace that section with straight non crimped exhaust. Anyone ever replace this section? Any difference in performance or am i wasting time and money?
Also thinking of taking off the resonators right after that section so its a straight shot to the mufflers.
Appreciate any insight!

Crimped exhaust pipe
I went back and reviewed pics I took for an insurance claim last time I was under mine and while the weld is in the same place there is definitely no crimp in the pipe. Since anything restrictive detracts from the design goals of our beloved ladies it looks like reconstructive surgery is in order!

Complete waste of money if you ask me
If you plan to do something like the Piggie Pipes (gut out the pre-cats), I'd say go for a more free flowing exhaust. Otherwise, your stock unit + crimp is just fine.
