Default RS6 2003 Value Check

I found a 2003 RS6 in good condition. It has 40,000 miles and no modifications. Grey/blk.

What is a fair private party sale value for this car?

Thx.

That is about the point at which mileage and price intersect. :-)

Default Good condition can mean a lot of things.

All maintenance done? Clean in and out?

Yes, it is rather subjective. In this case, it is clean and up to date maintenance.

I need to get one (maybe more) wheels refinished, the tires are good but not the brand that I prefer, the rotors look worn but not sure it needs changing.

Default You can get the rotors replaced.......

if its still under warranty. Fronts are like $1500 for rotors and pads.

I just got mine replaced.

40 to 43 and as stated numerous times here...if not CPO'd get a good extended warranty.

Default Can you put an extended warranty on a car after the CPO runs out??

I mean, wouldnt it be a better deal to put a 5 year warranty on a non-CPO car than only have the 2 years a CPO delivers? Or am I missing something?

Default Yes sort of. Some people here have done the extended warranty prior to the original warranty running

out so that they can get an extra year or two post CPO on their cars cheaper. My comment is that anyone buying an RS6 not from an Audi dealer as a certified car needs to get the extended warranty going ASAP as most cars are hitting the expiration date of the 4 year 50K as mine just did last month. My understanding is that once the original warranty is out and you try to buy the extended warranty it gets substantially more expensive if they will do it at all. I am hoping to ditch the car when my CPO runs out so didn't want to spend any more money on it.

Default Ok, that makes sense. Luckily I have...

6 more months of warranty before I need to pull that trigger.
