Default Possible tranny recode to stop shifting at redline?

Got this off a thread on RS246..
Sounds tempting but dangerous.. Anyone?

"If you want it to hold in gear you can re-code the tcu with 22 replacing the 05 at the end and it will not upshift! but dont let it bounce off the limiter"
