Light weight 18in wheels, I want some!
Anyone have any favorites on this one? Every wheel I like seems to not be made for the rs6 fitment
Low weight is the key for what I want.
Thanks!

HREs; Volks;
I would stay away from SSR wheels. Everyone and knows they bend extremely easy.
Regardless of where you live, go with wheels that are Forged. For such a heavy car, you need something strong.
HREs are very much worth the money. You can get them to make in offsets you want and size you need.
I currently run HRE 19x9et29 M40 during Summer.
I also run Volks 19x8.5et32 I think. This is my Winter setup.
I have to run 19" wheels because I upgraded to a Movi't brake setup all around, and the fronts only fit under 19" wheels.
Being from New England with tough roads, the Forged type wheels have been great.
You dont want to get wheels that are too light. The issue with extremely ligth wheels is that they cause a vibration around 45+ MPH because of resonance in the front. You must go with 20lbs per wheel at the very least.
Stock 18" are about 28lbs I think.
If you can get something around 22-23 lbs per wheel, you should be fine.
I've done lots of research on wheels for the RS6, and it is extremely difficult to find wheels that have the correct offset.
In the rear, I've also ran 19x9.5et34 with 295x30 tires without rubbing. Very hard to fit 9.5 wide wheels in the front.
Yes... I did have a staggered wheel setup before without any Quattro issues. The rolling diameter of the wheel+tire measurements had less than 1% difference. The only problem is that wider in the rear induces more understeer if you push the car hard.
Good luck. Happy to send you pix if you supply e-mail.
